Primary Light Experiments

From this  project i have learnt, utilized and concluded a huge
variety of ideas and approaches. One of my initial problems that i
encountered derived from my desired aesthetic. I knew the general
notions i wanted to tackle related to Sensory human perception,
however i was not sure how to approach it. Through a variety of
experiments and influential contextual references i have created an
outcome that i feel successfully encompasses what i wanted. A large
amount of these references related to the 1970 Southern California
light and space movement characterized by a focus on perceptual
Phenomena. It was here that i found a drawing ethereal ascetic that
opened up my mind to the tangibility of nothingness and how something
so clear and simple can be interpreted in such a diverse way when
human perception is involved. Wanting to create a sense of
transcendence in my work i also learnt that context is just as
important to unbind an individual work of art to its self.
If i was to do this project again i would do less thinking and more
doing as well as documenting my  thoughts and progression more
frequently.

At the Start of the project i made myself a time plan that i failed to
stick to resulting in the a fairly slow development of ideas at the
start of the project. From this i have learnt the importance of
keeping to the plan, I am now however in a good position to start my
degree course.
